That’s why we’re excited to introduce the Knott Bound Studios Volunteer Contributor Program (KBS VCP), a unique initiative designed to recognize and reward the efforts of our contributors.
What is the KBS VCP?
The KBS VCP is a web3-based program that tracks and validates individual contributions made by our team and community members towards any Knott Bound Studios project. It is an exclusive program available for non-employee volunteer contributors who have signed a Knott Bound Studios Volunteer Agreement.
How does it work?
The KBS VCP operates on the principles of transparency, immutability, and traceability. Using the power of blockchain technology, we are able to record and securely store the details of each participant’s contributions. This ensures that all actions and achievements are verifiable and cannot be tampered with.
What are Volunteer Contributor Points (VCPs)?
Volunteer Contributor Points (VCPs) are the units of recognition within the KBS VCP. They serve as a measure of a participant’s contribution to our projects. Although VCPs do not have a direct monetary value, they are represented as tokens on the WAX Blockchain. These tokens can be traded or transacted with other participants or collectors within the blockchain ecosystem.
Task-based Rewards
The KBS VCP rewards Volunteer Contributors with VCPs for completing open and available tasks that are assigned by our studios. These tasks can range from game design and development-related activities to community engagement and promotional initiatives. Each task is assigned a specific VCP value, reflecting its level of complexity and importance within the project.

- Creating concept art for in-game characters or environments
- Writing and proofreading game lore or dialogue
